The fee for an OCA member is $169.50 and a non OCA-member is $226.00 (inclusive of HST). Please call when applying mid-year for the pro-rated fee.

The educational requirements are a minimum of 220 contact hours of an institution backed recognized acupuncture program such as that offered through Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, CCE recognized chiropractic colleges, World Health Organization (WHO) recognized acupuncture programs in China. If in doubt please contact the ACO office regarding eligibility of the program.
In terms of continuing education requirements, ACO by-laws state that 12 hours of continuing education credits are required every two years to maintain membership status. Such credits can be obtained by participation in acupuncture training and/or seminars with recognized acupuncture educational institutes.

The Annual General Meeting for ACO members is held in the spring. At this meeting, vital issues of interest to ACO members are discussed and elections are held for any Board vacancies.
